Are there any alternatives to Frontline? Dolly last October developed a severe skin reaction and scratched herself bald/raw - i frontlined her and this cleared the problem up. This weekend she has gnawed her belly raw so i'm thinking i need to frontline them all again (last time the vet put her on steroids and i was advised to stop giving them too her - we also think this is why she bled so heavily when she was spayed). Anyway i frontlined her last nite and she got herself in a right tizzy, running round the house, frothing at the mouth - as if the smell was too much to cope with - my cats also froth at the mouth when i frontline them. I really don't link the idea of using it if its giong to affect them this much but what are the alternatives.

Thread on Alternative Flea Remedies.

It might be worth thinking about, especially as they seem to be having such extreme reactions.

CSJ Feeds do a herbal supplement called Billy No Mates. I used it on Dill last year and he stayed flea free although he did pick up the off tick still. I also found a citronella spray that was very good with Logan.
