Well I have coped for nearly a month now without asking anything lol, but the time has come!

She has been very good, except for the usual chewing through things and toileting, oh puppy style! But I can deal with this.

However, she has a HUGE obsession with Brandy, I was hoping she'd chill out a bit over it, but its starting to REALLY get on Brandys nerves now! She doesnt mind if she sits with her, and is relitively tolerant, but Twiglet has this REALLY annoying habit, if she hasnt seen her for literally 5 seconds, eg it can be that Brands has gone up the staris, and Tiwglet realises and goes up 2 seconds later, an she sits in front of her, trying to lick her face! Brandy growls, and then Twigs goes down all playfully jumping from side to side and trying to lick her face and get her tongue down poor Brandys throat!

Its getting annoying, cos if for instance I come home, and let Twiglet out of her toilet safe zone kitchen, the first thing she'll do is run up to Brands and REALY annoy her by doing this sillyness for about 5 minutes, whcin makes me cringe cos I am trying to make all this as stress free as possible for Brandy! How can I make her more relaxed, or at least stop the in Brandys face activities!?

She is allowed out to walk as of today, so I am hoping getting rid of pent up energy may help?

Nic, apart from ensuring that Brandy has "Brandy Time" it's really down to her to tell Twiglet what is and isn't acceptable. Twiggy is only telling Brandy that she totally accepts that Brandy's the Queen of the house, most dogs do just accept this sort of behaviour with a sort of snotty indifference/growl. Being as they live together they've got to learn how to rub along together, unless it came down to out and out fisty cuffs, I wouldn't interfer at all.

Aww, it does seem that little Twiggles isn't taking the hint from Brandy. I would agree with Tafia in letting them sort it out between themselves. As you say now that Twiglet can start having walks it may occupy her more and she wont be quite so obsessed with Brandy. :)

Yep agree with both, the exercise and also meeting lots of other dogs should also lessen Twiglet's obsession with Brandy.Try to get her to meet as many other dogs as you possibly can so she learns the proper way to behave with all dogs.

I guess the singular most important thing in Twiglet's world is Brandy - she is literally the only dog she knows! But now she can go out, Twiglet's world is going to get a lot bigger and more interesting and hopefully Brandy will cease to be her main focus.
