Moderator Posts: 23,519 Group: Moderators Member #48 Joined: February 5, 2005	Ooops forgot to update this. Show will start at 12 noon 1. Best puppy (up to 12mths) 2. Best veteran (over 8 yrs) 3. Best child handler 4. Handsomest dog 5. Prettiest bitch 6. Best HWAR rescued dog/bitch 7. Best rescued dog/bitch open Agility display 8. Dog most like its owner 9. Best Irish brace from same household (2 most dissimilar dogs) 10. Waggiest tail 11. Best Trick 12. Dog judge would most like to take home 13. Fancy Dress Parade of the Poundies 14. Best in show Trophys for all winners and rosettes to 5th place. Paws for Thought Dog Display Team will be there, featuring HWAR ex poundies doing their agility display, heelwork to music and flyball demonstration. Followed by have a go agility. We will have our annual Parade of the Poundies, all HWAR dogs are invited to take part and all receive a rosette. This year the parade will be led by Barney the American Bulldog, a rescue dog who is truly a credit to his breed, since his rescue he has given so much back in helping rehabilitate the dogs in our care. Barneys Dad will be on hand taking photographs during the show, and our range of 'with love from Barney' merchandise will be available for sale. For weekenders we are arranging our annual dog walk for Saturday afternoon and for the more adventurous have a go at Cani X, prizes and rosettes for the winners. This will be followed by our infamous BBQ!!!. Still plenty of room for campers, come and make a weekend of it!!!!!!!! I'm going up Friday,will be staying as usual in one of the caravans - no electricity,no water though :lol: and having BBQ Friday and Saturday night,should be a great weekend,hope Ds behave themselves (and Daisy doesn't attempt to kill Tracy's Buffy;kill a rabbit at the kennels :blush: both of which she has done before)

Chatterbox Posts: 1,314 Group: Full Members Member #168 Joined: January 12, 2006	It was absolutely awful here yesterday and this morning, this afternoon though has turned out to be quite dry, cool but dry at least. Was all set to go today but Maddie is showing signs of what I suspect is KC :doh: She was up in the night hacking and coughing and has been a little this morning, have been giving her honey and benylin and thankfully the coughing has been subsiding so I'm hoping she just had something tickling her throat rather than KC but will keep her in to be safe!!! Bloody dogs :rolleyes: :lol: Hope that everyone had a nice day there anyway, despite the crap weather!!

Posts: 6,016 Group: Full Members Member #134 Joined: November 17, 2005	Hope the KC clears up quickly Kimmie :crossedfingers: Glad to hear that the weather's cleared up this afternoon Kimmie; Mum's visiting Rhayader today, sounds like she'll have had bad weather on the way but hopefully her return journey is going to be better.
