Dig It Dog Training Club (Dubthorn Lane, Betchton, Sandbach, Cheshire, CW11 4TA) is holding their annual open day on 9th May 2009 10am 4pm. This is a fun day for anyone to come along to see what we do at the club. There are some fun competitions open to members and non-members alike. Give them a go you may win a rosette or a prize. In between the fun classes come and try out the equipment under the trained eye of one of our instructors to see if any of activities suits you and your dog. At 12noon the newly formed Dig It Dogs Display Team will be performing showing off the clubs many talents. For more general info about the club visit the website at www.digitdogs.co.uk For more info on the open day please ring Lydia (club owner) on (01270) 585600 / 07841828301 Or Claire (events co-ordinator) 07816354007 Rough timetable for the day is as follows: 10am Ghost Agility run a course without the aid of words, guide your dog around the course through body language only 11am Novice Agility for non-members and club members who dont usually compete. Equipment will all be set at low training heights 12noon Display 12.30pm Party Games Fastest Bonio eating (can you beat a Labrador?), fun races, pass the parcel 1pm send away snooker challenge gain as many points as possible in 1 minute by sending your dog around the equipment without leaving the handling box yourself 3pm Clever dogs agility & flyball combined 4pm BBQ Also throughout the day there will be a tennis ball lottery, fastest weaves and temptation alley so enter at any time Class entries will be donated to Oldies Club (www.oldies.org.uk) who rehome dogs over 7 years of age. OH and Barclays are doubling our money!!! Very exciting........... Need loads of people to join in with everything now! For every £1 you send Oldies club get £2! with no effort from you it's better than gift aid! |

Sounds great fun - I might go as a spy to get ideas for the Ginger Day. It would be fun to see what Dill makes of agility ( :hyper: :help: :yay: :yippee: - at a guess........) |

Bet he'll love it ;) Does sound fun doesn't it.Hope you can go,one of the organisers fosters for Oldies so it's great they are donating funds to them. |
