Don't know where my head has been, but just realised I can have my own album for the dogs! So finally Fred gets his moment of glory. I'm afraid I need to catch up for lost time... Messy and blown about by the wind on Canvey Island about a year ago. He loves that jumper. He shows this by trying to chew my hands off when I try to put it on. He doesn't wear it much! Posted Image Porky boy! One of the shots for the Dogs Today photo shoot. He looks so much better now he's lost the weight - he'd got fatter than this before it got better. I'd like another photoshoot now he's skinny please. :-) Posted Image Another slug-like picture. Oh Fred, how could I have done this to you! He's 'helping' me sweep up. Posted Image Heel! Posted Image And relax... Posted Image You.. Will.. Do... MY... Bidding... Posted Image No sense, no feeling.. Posted Image Helping me dig a hole a couple of weeks ago. And he was very helpful, he scooped all the loose dirt out for me. Can see he's much more slimline now I hope! Posted Image Until he started doing this - then he had to be removed before he got stabbed in the head because he was like glued to the end of the fork. If I moved it about he followed as if he were magnetised! If you look in his mouth you can see the grass from where he was pulling clumps up for me. Wonderful doggy... Posted Image Hope that's enough to be going on with. ;) and not forgetting my Beautiful Beauty. Why have one bed when you can have two? Posted Image Edited by Linda & Fred, May 4 2009, 08:02 AM.

Sorry, was going to leave it a while before I uploaded a new photo, but had to do this one. Sorry it's poor quality, my son disturbed Fred before I'd go a good shot. It's possibly I underestimated how big this bed was when I bought it today... Posted Image Ooops. And if anyone got this month's issue of Dog's Monthly, Fred's on page 40 which I wasn't expecting. :hyper: It's this pic - http://www.petplanet.co.uk/product.asp?dept_id=318&pf_id=8955 Model dog! Yay. |

Won't put his face or paws in to fetch a ball, but happy to squat so I have to clear up from there. He seems to favour nettles. Little sod. |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QIm8kFLQEJc Fred seems to have taught himself to jump backwards. This started when he won't take his eyes off whatever it is he wants. Indoors he eats in the kitchen, but I prepare food in the dining room. So he has learnt to jump over the stairgate bar going backwards, and he's now started doing it when I get his ring zinger out! I do wonder what all this leaping around and chasing toys is doing to his hips, but he only gets toys at the weekend when it's just my dogs. I do watch for the old signs of pain coming back on days we've been doing this and so far nothing. And yes, that is me talking to him like an idiot. Can't help myself! |

He's a devil! Now he's stopped doing all his naughty things he's making up new ones. He's started fence jumping after cats instead. Little sod! |

Some days, when it's not too roasting hot in the van, or if he can come on every walk, Fred comes to work with me. This normally means an hour morning walk, then another two or three walks during the day. Today he's had roughly 2 1/2 hours of walks over approx 6 hours. Idle boy! Posted Image I think that is the cutest one, but as the bungy cord was getting in the way, and because I think he's so lovely, here's another one! Posted Image Unlike Beauty he'll sleep when we're moving, but obviously he's wide awake and ready for action at the slightest noise/scent/thought that he might be missing something! |
