AVMA .

AVMA study which backs up what a great many of us have been saying for years. Won't make a blind bit of difference, but will make it neigh on impossible for your vet to sight health benefits as a reason for castration. Difficult to argue personal experience against a million dogs, especially when carried out by the AVMA.

Thanks so much for that Tafia.Spaying neutering does have it's benefits in my mind but definitely not mandatory and it isn't suitable for all dogs by any means.

What I find quite incredible is this quote

"There is unquestioned benefit from spay and castration but it may be human benefit rather than of any tangible benefit to the dog" - the AMVA (!) I've said pretty much myself for years but never thought I'd hear an national Veterinary body say the samething!
