AVMA . AVMA study which backs up what a great many of us have been saying for years. Won't make a blind bit of difference, but will make it neigh on impossible for your vet to sight health benefits as a reason for castration. Difficult to argue personal experience against a million dogs, especially when carried out by the AVMA. |

Thanks so much for that Tafia.Spaying neutering does have it's benefits in my mind but definitely not mandatory and it isn't suitable for all dogs by any means. |

What I find quite incredible is this quote "There is unquestioned benefit from spay and castration but it may be human benefit rather than of any tangible benefit to the dog" - the AMVA (!) I've said pretty much myself for years but never thought I'd hear an national Veterinary body say the samething! |
