(although I have no idea what he will make of it once he realises there is no work involved and he's supposed to chill out and have fun :yikes: ) There is Good Citizen Bronze testing in the morning and fun classes in the afternoon. Morning session starts 11am and fun classes start at 1.30pm, including fancy dress All heelers and other breeds welcome Raffle and refreshments. Please come along if you can :)

We were dicsussing fun days at training last night and everyone found the thought of Dill at a fun day very amusing. He wil jump out of the car all enthusiastic :yippee: Then he will start to wonder where all the training areas are :ermm: Then he will see some dogs in fancy dress :yikes: Poor Dill - I hope there is something for him to join in with :crossedfingers:

Maybe you could take inspiration from something, a little, Copacobana? A little Cage aux Folle? Ruffles, purple, maraca's say? Alternatively, if you're too busy (bad dog owner you .....) I'm sure Roo Roo would loan you Razzel's Pink Sun Hat and boot set? There used to be a guy who lived near here who had real game JR - the owner was a real man mountain valleys boy who worked as a bouncer but his leisure hours were spent rabbiting with this JR. A picture of workmanlike, no nonsense terrierman & dog - until the local companion show season began ..... then in matching sparkly stetson hats & waistcoats they would proudly take to the ring, heads held high and more often than not walking away with the ribbon!

Just the thought of it makes me shudder :D Jack Russells are notorious for being camp - they hang around with Karl Lagerfeld and Pink :P Roo Roo is a native of these parts and I am sure she knows better than to bring anything pink and sparkly within nipping distance of a heeler :lol:

I could say he has come as a liver and tan heeler :P Much as I appreciate the offers of costumes and advice - I think we'll just go for the party pooper look. Something Carry on Cleo inspired perhaps. Maybe just a few laurel leaves behind his ear? I can just hear Dill now "Infamy, infamy, they've all got it in for me ....." it'd be like he'd never died. He is the most workmanlike little dog on the planet (maybe we could get a group of heelers together dressed as the Village People and Dill could be the road-worker or the policeman - he'd never get the joke!) He has no idea he looks like Kenneth Williams (nor did I until Tafia pointed it out) Please - nobody tell him - upsetting a heeler is never a good idea :ph43r:
