Poor Ol Twig has had a awful tummy today, she had very runny number 2's all over wills dads office 2day  and sickness..... I doubt this is related but thought id say that first just incase. Her nose was fine first thing this morn and she's come back today with a pink bit on it, almost like she has caught it on something.....its very strange tho as she has only been in the office 2day, and will cant think when she did it. Anyone know if its anything to worry about or if they can scratch the skin off their nose and make it pink? |

Oh poor Twigs, upset tums in littles is not nice.Think they can take the skin off their nose and it is pink underneath, seem to remember Duncan doing it with a football he was rolling round for ages and I didn't notice it chafing his skin (at least I think it was his nose  ) |

No experience of this at all Nic. Though from Zandd's experience it would seem that she might have caught her nose on something. Runny bottom could very easily be her back teeth coming through, she's about that age. |

No experience of puppies, or sore noses I'm afraid! But I will say that teething in babies usually results in bouts of the runs. Summer always had horrendous nappy rash when she was teething so like Tafia said, her bottom troubles could be that  |

Don't know if you remember but a couple of months ago I found a greyhound that had been dumped at the meadows. He had a tiny patch on his nose where the black had been scraped off showing the pink underneath. The Southern Lurcher Rescue subsequently took in another jet black greyhound and I was surprised to see in his photo that he had exactly the same affliction! It was put down to them both snuffling and foraging for food and scratching their noses that way (not that Twig has ever had to go hunting for her supper, but her natural puppy inquisitiveness may have seen that little nose being poked into all manner of places!) |
