Thanks Tafia.

Bo is 5 years old and for me is one of those dogs that are ideal. His temperament is outstanding and he just wants to please. He is a big terrier at 15" tts but in proportion. His claim to fame is that he was the dog they used in the movie "the golden compass" He was cgi 'd and was the Daemon of the young boy called Roger. They altered his appearance a little by putting a badger stripe down his face..

Shoda is 6 years old and is very sweet natured. Again she will do anything to please. I mated her to bo and produced 4 pups, I kept back Indi who is a typical terrier puppy.lol

Shota is also a daughter of Bo via a friends bitch called Shylock. She is very like her dad but is still a little bugger, forever finding new ways to try and push the boundaries.

They receive plenty of stimulation through long walks and a some light hearted pest control on the local farms.

A film star no less! Not seen The Golden Compass, but when I do I shall watch it with interest now I know Bo's in it.

Was Shoda your first Plummer and what got you interested in the breed?

Facially they remind me of an old childhood terrier x we had from the Ferny Hunt kennels called Tag. He was heavier in the body and less on the leg but he popped into my head as soon as I saw them!

Thanks JRT!

Taffia - No My first plummer was a dog called Diesel. Sadly he suffered from fits that eventually made him aggressive....

I got into the breed through a friend who had one when we were younger. We would often go to the run down water works near to home to do a spot of ratting with our terriers. I had a kerry blue at the time. I always liked the plummer from this day on, imo They are beautiful dogs and once you own one you find it impossible to not have more..

Thanks again for the warm welcome all!

Yes roo roo. Thank you for giving me the link, i am really enjoying this forum!

Claire in regards to bo's starring role. The film producer apparently is a fan of Plummer Terriers so contacted Bo via the breed club. There wasn't to much for him to do to be honest, as i said he was used to be able to create a cgi terrier. They changed his look a bit, was a bit disappointing, apparently they needed to add more white to him so he was more visible on the screen. So that's it really. No starring roles since - was thinking of getting him an agent!
