Coco, pedigree Lakeland Terrier, DOB 02.09

Her Story Had since a puppy and benefitted from a very aware and involving up bringing. Coco lost her home from biting one of the children. She has her little terrier personality and needs further work to 'soften' it.

Salient Points Coco is a pedigree Lakeland terrier. Fully vax'd, Passported and spayed. Wary of dogs, but soon settles. Not to live with young children.

Advert Coco is a dear terrier who has had a good foundation having been very socialised and well cared for. She has lost her home as she bit one of the young children. She related to the child as she would another pup and 'in her mind' had a go and marked the skin. Child was fine about it, but parents feel that she isn't suited to very young children. Her owners should have been guided against a Lakie with such young children ... too feisty a breed in our minds and a view shared with many breeders. She needs a child free living environment, but is fine with supervised visiting children. Currently fostered with aware children. Coco needs a keen focus around her needs which is difficult to manage in a busy household and tempermentally a little too 'terrier' for little humans.

Coco is currently in foster with a Rottie cross Collie. We are looking for a new home for Coco. We wouldn't home a bitch with bitch so if she is to live with another dog it would need to be a male. She needs terrier experience to bring her through into the delightful dog she is destined to be.
