Twig has been tearing around the house all evening tonight, I assumed it was cos she was wet from our walk, but then after about a hour thought it was a bit weird, and she cant get comfy, she keeps flicking her legs out and chewing between her 'toes' and they are all red :( I have bathed her feet with cold water and she seems to have calmed down a bit now, but was very weird, I am wondering if it was somethign on our walk, anyone else had anything similar to this? |

Could be something washed out of the fields with the rain? I take it they've not started gritting there yet? We had our first sprinkling of grit here last night, it used to make Hollys feet sore. |

Ted does this everytime his feet get wet or muddy - it is like he feels defiled - he rushes around for about 30 mins stopping every now and then to groom frantically before more rushing around. I've checked his feet as soon as we get in the door, and have come to the conclusion his feet get red after a short amount of time spent obsessively grooming - rather than being hurt after the walk. I am afraid as a rather heartless owner (and checking with the vet) I now let Ted get on with his little obsession, and don't worry about it any more. |

Could it be the evening zoomies? Both of mine used to go crazy every evening, combination of being tired, excited and not wanting to settle down for the night just yet - at least that's what I always put it down to! |
