Elsdon, Staffie, DOB 03.09 Posted Image His Story Found living in filth with a man during a police raid. Taken into custody and surrendered to 2 police officers on trial to live with their female Staffie. They neutered and vax'd Elsdon. He has been too full-on for their circumstances. Salient Points: Intelligent, young dog who has learnt so much in just 2 weeks, including housetraining, management around streets, the beginnings of socialisation with other dogs and food manners. He has been fine around children, though limited contact. Responds in play mode with other dogs and when told off! Needs a family with time to put in vital training to allow him to catch up and succeed in life. Advert Elsdon is a handsome lad still of tender age. He is responding well to the opportunities that life has suddenly offered him. Considering the appalling circumstances he was found in, he seems to have emerged without damage, as in truth he was loved, but his needs grossly neglected. Elsdon wants to rough play with his current older dog companion, as a young dog with a 'puppy' mind would. He needs to move through some developmental milestones to emerge with speed into his impending adult life. Elsdon has just been neutered and fully vax'd. Elsdon is living in a suburban area and learning to cope with traffic noises and fast movements, fireworks and London Parks. He is very adaptable and wants to engage and embrace life. His current owners have done him proud in giving him a good introduction to 'normal' life and his new family will be able improve on this foundation and bring him through. He hasn't got a bad bone in his body. Elsdon needs to learn manners, routine and customs within his new families routine and lifestyle. Elsdon is well set to achieve that. A little cheeky; a little mouthy and a little lively, oh yes everything a young dog should be. Lacking a solid foundation he needs guidance, support and loads more opportunities to grasp life and have lots of laughs together with his eager family.
