Madness Games and Comics
Sun Feb 3rd. 1pm-6pm
35 Point SR2013
$5

To continue to help ease people into SR games I'm going to be running a SR-101 event at Madness Sun Feb 3rd. It will be a 3 round format with some of the more fun scenarios from SR2012. Timers will be used, including extensions, however they will not force an end of the turn. Players can earn one prize from the updated list of following categories:

Overall Winner
Most Characters Killed
Most Objective Destroyed
Phyric Victory: Most AP destroyed with a losing record

Please post if you are interested to give me an idea of the head count. Thanks!

What does the card say?

"O Fish, are you constant to the old covenant?" "Ceterum autem censeo Carthaginem esse delendam"

Alex better have won or Don and I are going to kick his ass for breaking out PG tourney dominance,
I do not like planning ahead. I prefer the perfect move for the moment. The rest is up to my dice.

Hahaha.

Well, last minute changes and goading by Don made me bring eCaine Theme 2: Street Sweepers and eHaley Theme 1: Grave Diggers. Read the themes, you'll understand why they're awful. Especially the eCaine one.

Quote of the day - Attr to James Russell: Damn Trenchers are jerks!

Game 1: James Russell - eCaine vs Ossyan. T2 he got me down to 2 health, but I proceeded to execute everyone in his list. It turns out that Trenchers and Commandos are great at plinking away at Hyperion. Won on Scenario.

Game 2: Dan's Morvanna vs eHaley's Grave Diggers. Cyclone kept on getting a bead to Morvanna (bonded warjack).

Game 3: I lost to Zach last game, made a bone headed move and left eCaine to the jaws of eLylyth.

2-1 overall. Bringing respect back to Trenchers in a non-Siege list. Also, the Grenadier.

Yea, by making them 5/8 instead of 6/10 and reducing the UA to 2 instead of 3.

I do have to give it to Alex ... that guy can play anything and do well.

Despite my bonheadedness in my 1st game (forgot to allocate focus to Hyperion, 2 turns in a row!)

I was really impressed and what Ret can do ... finally feel like I'm getting Ossyans positioning down at least!

Hyperion continually impresses me with SR 2013 scenarios ... I do need to practice positioning that base though(frontarcs and such, (especially speed 5+ Colossals) a player should really just lern to place the wreck marker down and then shift the big guy on top, just to make sure there isnt any collision or overlapping of that big ass base

How'd this turn out?
And to Answer this:

-Zach House (Legion) won best Record-undefeated (he and Alex (Cygnar. Trewncher theme lists!!!) duked it out at the finals table with a huge assasination attempt on turn 2 by Zach)

-Kyle (Circle) won for most "Character Assasinations) with 5 (waaaay above everyone else)!

-James (me / Ret) won for most scenario objectives using SR2013

- and Josh (nice, newer Circle guy) won Most AP's with a losing record
