Madness Games and Comics
Sun Feb 3rd. 1pm-6pm
35 Point SR2013
$5

To continue to help ease people into SR games I'm going to be running a SR-101 event at Madness Sun Feb 3rd. It will be a 3 round format with some of the more fun scenarios from SR2012. Timers will be used, including extensions, however they will not force an end of the turn. Players can earn one prize from the updated list of following categories:

Overall Winner
Most Characters Killed
Most Objective Destroyed
Phyric Victory: Most AP destroyed with a losing record

Please post if you are interested to give me an idea of the head count. Thanks!

What does the card say?

"O Fish, are you constant to the old covenant?" "Ceterum autem censeo Carthaginem esse delendam"

I had a great time loosing to everyone!, thanks Don for running this.

Shout outs to Dan and his never ending bloodtrackers, almost as bad as zombies...oh wait they were.

James and the Clone Civil War, stupid kill box cost me the moral victory of a colossus kill.

Josh with Kromac playing king of the hill will teach me to be too cautious.

I took first, but won one of the most nail biting games of my life against Jacob.

He had me on the ropes the entire game, my fireballs harmlessly deflecting off of his trolls.

With most of my force defeated and my beasts badly damaged and unable to hurt anything, one lone Strider managed to keep the central zone contested for multiple rounds, keeping the scenario score at 0-0.

When dice down was called, I won on the 4th tiebreaker. In SR2013 you tally up points left of your army and double the value for any army pieces in the zone. I happened to have both of my beasts toe-in the zone, and even though they were mostly dead, still netted me a 37-34 point victory in the end.

Nuts game, good playing Jacob, you had me.

It was actually closer: 37 - 35 (maybe even 36) victory.

Zach: 2 Ravagores (In the zone, 36 total) + 1 Shepard.
Jacob: 1 Mauler (in the Zone, 18 total), Min Champs + UA, Kriel Stone + UA, Chronicler (in the zone, 4 total).

Originally we said 34, but the champs + Skaldi is 9, I forget if the Kriel stone was max or not). Difference of a point.
