Looks like Aml Ameen who played has hit the big time with his latest role. Just found this article:

Award winning actor Aml Ameen, 27, is to appear in new film The Butler alongside a star-studded cast featuring Oprah Winfrey, Forrest Whitaker and Robin Williams.

The film is inspired by the life of butler Eugene Allen, who worked for eight first families. It was written by Lee Daniels and Danny Strong after reading an article about Eugene in the Washington Post. The amazing A-List cast also includes Nicole Kidman, Liam Neeson, Mariah Carey, Cuba Gooding Jr and Terrence Howard.

London-born Aml will be playing ‘Young Cecil’, a hungry boy from the Deep South, who is taken in and made over by a manager of a hotel restaurant.

Of the role, Aml said:’They really wanted me for the part, so much so they rewrote the script to accommodate the fact that I don’t resemble Forest Whitaker, who I am playing a younger version of. Instead, they shortened the time period over which I play the younger version of him, from 15-35 years-old to 15 to 18 years-old, so it is not so obvious.’

Aml previously appeared as a regular in American legal comedy-drama series Harry’s Law and also appeared in 2012 war film Red Tails.
