Okay this has taken some figuring out so I would advise anyone who is interested in this to do some research as I can't guarentee any of this is 100% correct.

In 2013 Cat Simmons (Kezia Walker) was in Macbeth http://www.shakespearesglobe.com/theatre/w...re/macbeth-2013 it seems that one performance was filmed and made into a film. This film will be shown in Australia and New Zealand in selected cinemas on October 15th 2015. However, I have absolutely no idea which cinemas it will be shown in, I think you will have to click the link a little closer to the date and check with your cinemas locally. http://onscreen.shakespearesglobe.com/productions/macbeth/

Screenings of 'Stage to Screen' are becoming more popular and more frequent here, mostly in boutique cinemas (but not always).

The one that does them closest to me has done some sort of New York Arts deal and only shows productions done by the National Theatre and Metropolitan Opera from there, though a UK production of The Phantom of the Opera did a big movie tour a little while back and this really kicked the whole thing off.

So if we can get some shows from the old dart for a change that would be really nice. Your information is probably on the mark and so is your advice; fans out there are going to have to check with their local cinemas who indulge in the stage to screen shows as the time comes closer :)

Well I am not too sure about the performance that was filmed being screened in cinemas, but just the other day it was shown on cable tv network Foxtel's 'Arts' channel.

So a few astute and observant Bill fans did get to catch not only this production (and a little trip to the new globe theatre at a mere fraction of the cost...oh and the couch was far more comfy than having to stand through whole show too *ha), but also got to see Cat in action. :police2:
