Seat Height When seated the person should have their hips slightly higher than their knees with their feet comfortably on the ground or footrest. Some chairs have adjust able legs which allow you to adjust the height as needed. If the chair does not have adjustable legs you can raise the seat height using chair raisers under each leg of the chair. Seat Depth The seat should supp ort the length of the buttocks and thighs. The front edge should curve downwards, ending two or three finger widths behind the knees to avoid pressure behind the knee. If the seat is too deep the back will not be supported. Seat Width Seat width should allow a small space on either side of the body, and be close enough for the armrest to be directly below the shoulders. picnic time reclining folding camp chair Wicker Patio Furniture Chaise Lounge outside bistro table and chair sale in south africa tablesandchairsusa.com Sitemap |
