Hello,

Can someonme please explain to me in good detail on how to do a japenese Whizzer? I kinda forgot how to do it, cause I haven't used it in a while. Or you could post a site on which it explains how to do it!

It is probably hard to really explain in words.You might do a search for Ippon Seoinage. That is a vry similar move in Judo and Jujitsu. The biggest difference is that the wrestler usually drops down to the knee to make the throw as opposed to straightening the legs. It is also called the under-arm spin in wrestling a couple of links might help.

Nice links, Scottj! Does anyone know who the Gopher is using the under-arm spin at Nationals? I'd say the first link is more of a shoulder throw while the link from the mat.com is a "Jap Whizzer" or underarm spin.

He was wrestling the Oklahoma HWT down at Iowa City in the Nationals when the U of M had 10 All-Americans. He pinned the Okie on the move. I'm pretty sure that's when it was.
