I heard Rosholt SD had a transfer from western SD. A state place winner. Does Rosholt still have the COOP with Wheaton in wrestling ? I think it was Belle Fusche or something like that...

Does anybody know what weight this kid is at ???

And if so, how does the transfer rules work...the kid isn't living with his parents...I heard they checked into it, and it's OK because SD rules are different...

Jamin Battles (125lbs next year, probably) was 21-4 last year and placed 2nd to Josh Kezler @ 119. He would be one of the favorites in class A next year if it's true.

However, the MSHSL website does not list Rosholt as being in a Co-Op with Wheaton or any other MN team that I know of.

I checked, and this kid will be in the mix at Border West. The COOP is in full force, but there hasn't been anybody wrestling from Rosholt for years so it was kind of forgotten.

The Novak boys from NYM should put together quite a show. Shane (9th?) should be at 103-112 next year (guessing). He was incredible at state. Very level headed and very smart. His brother Jordan (SR) should run the tourney and do very well at state.

I don't think any decisions have been made as of yet. Keep in mind these are young kids and they don't need personal family issues discussed on an open forum. They are a great family and will be missed if they move elsewhere.

Where are they rumored to be moving to?

Any body have predictions for the top 4 teams in this section?
I would go with New York Mills, West Central Area, Wadena Deer Creek and Border West( No Order)

I would say Border West is the favorite especially if they get that transfer in the middle. that would make them pretty solid through 171 with Connelly on top.

New York Mills and WDC will be even. WDC will probably be 2nd as they will be very solid from 103-152 and a couple decent kids on top. NYM will have some good kids but too many holes. Losing Bell really hurt them imo. There good kids will be too spread out with a gaping hole from 160-189.

WCA will have some high quality indiv. that are just way too spread out.

but the team to watch out for will be bhv. they have some solid kids like Schmidt, turchin,Braaten, Wiese, Graba and some other kids that got alot of experience last year. At the end of the year they will contend.

end of year i see it like this
1-BW
2-BHV
3-WDC
4-NYM
5-WCA
6-PP
7-PR

i personally dont see how u can put parkers prairie ahead of otc or barnesville.

granted barnesville wasnt that great last year, but they had a young, inexperienced team also. look for a few good individuals as well as a decent dual team. they also had two kids come in from fargo north that look to be pretty decent and will help up top.

otc still has a few studs left. im pretty sure that grasswick is still there (anyone verifiy?) along with nilson and johnson. i see their only problem up top.

parkers from what i saw lost quite a bit. they lost studs in arvidson and silbernick. and is harris a senior this year? and im not sure on fiedler either. they had a pretty good 25 pounder if i recall. walsh is still there. i just think that they have too many holes to keep with the top tier teams of the sections. can anyone get verification on some of these guys?

Walsh, Silbernick, and harris will all be seniors in 09-10. arvidson and fiedler both graduated.

West Central is also going to have some tough individuals with Long, Ray, Felland, Pikop, Blehr, Martineau. There heavy weight should do well to. They will be tough in the middle weights but i dont know about down low and up top

I would put NYM at the top for now. They have some great firepower and from what I hear, their kids did well in summer camps.
