Reigna, Hindi po Katoliko ang ilang personalities sa listahang iyong binigay. Pakaingatan ang pagsagot. Maaaring sila ay binansagang banal batay sa kani-kanilang congregation. Gregorio Aglipay - Gregorio Aglipay was an activist Roman Catholic priest from Ilocos Norte who, despite his intercession and defense of some of the Spanish Roman Catholic clergy from liberal-nationalist Filipino revolutionaries, was excommunicated by the Vatican for inciting rebellion within the Filipino clergy. - During the brief interlude between independence from the Spanish and the subsequent reoccupation by the Americans, Isabelo de los Reyes and Aglipay reformed the Filipino Catholic clergy into the Philippine Independent Church, officially established in 1902 Bro. Mike Velarde (Mariano Zuniega Velarde) Malaki ang reservation ako kay Bro. Mike kahit na he maintains that he is a Roman Catholic. Makinig na lang ng El Shaddai broadcasts sa tv at radyo. Mako-consider bang nating banal? Bro. Eddie Villanueva - EDUARDO Villanueva is the first religious leader to run for president, relying on a born-again Christian constituency to shoulder him on to Malacañang. - Villanueva's messianic movement is a reincarnation of the turn-of-the-century millenarianism. Eraño G. Manalo - Eraño de Guzman Manalo is the current Executive Minister of the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC). Felix Y. Manalo - Felix Ysagun Manalo was founder and first Executive Minister of the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) and registered it with the Philippine Government on July 14, 1914. - The Iglesia ni Cristo believes that Manalo is the last messenger of God, the fulfillment of Biblical prophecies, and was sent to reestablish the first Church founded by Jesus. Eli Soriano - Eliseo Fernando Soriano is a controversial Philippine evangelist. He is presiding minister of the Members Church of God International Christian group who call him "The Only Sensible Preacher of our Time". He hosts radio and television programs Ang Dating Daan, Ask Soriano, Biblically Speaking, Bible Guide and Truth in Focus. - Three days after his 17th birthday, Eliseo was baptized in Seneguelasan, Bacoor, Cavite, and became an official member of the Iglesia ng Dios kay Kristo Hesus, Haligi at Suhay ng Katotohanan (Church of God in Christ Jesus, Pillar and Ground of the Truth) Daniel Razon - Daniel Razon or Kaka is an accomplished radio and television broadcast journalist from the Philippines. - He is the present Vice-Presiding Minister of the Members Church of God International. |

Wala na akong maidagdag sa list ni Pablo. Though i have a personal list of Filipino Holy Catholics - Sister Teresing Castillo- seer of Mediatrix of all Grace - Lipa, Batangas Fr. Suarez - the healing priest. Fr. Corsey- another healing priest. Ate Guada, has a point... We have to focus on what is asked for Filipino Catholic Banal Though we have to consider Reigna's lines Filipino religious firgures Figures - personalities. That is for reference only.

We pray for more political figures like Tita Cory. Let's hope and pray that Noli De Castro keeps true to his devotion to the Black Nazarene and eventually to Mother Mary. |

Napakamaloko mo, Paul!!! I think not being devoted to the Blessed Mother is really missing out on the true person of Jesus Christ. |

as i have seen from the list of holy pinoys particularly that of paul and reigna, there are figures who may be not be filipino by birth but have been here in the Philippines serving for quite some time; allow me to add to the list: St Ezekiel Moreno, Augustinian priest who became parish priest of Sta. Cruz Parish in Manila. In fact when you go to the Parish Church of Sta. Cruz the one decicated to Our Lady of the Pillar, on the left side of the entrance door you will see the statue of St. Ezekiel Moreno. |
"God has been very good to me, for I never dwell upon anything wrong which a person has done, so as to remember it afterwards. If I do remember it, I always see some other virtue in that person."
