Lesson Three - Part One: Animals

ねずみ(Nezumi) - Rat
うし (Ushi) - Cow
とら (Tora) - Tiger
うさぎ(Usagi) - Rabbit
たつ/りゅう (Tatsu/Ryuu) - Dragon
へび (Hebi) - Snake
うま(Uma) - Horse
ひつじ (Hitsuji) - Sheep
さる (Saru) - Monkey
ろひ/ とり (Rohi/Tori) - Roaster/Bird
いぬ (Inu) - Dog
いぬしし/ぶた (Inushishi/Buta) - Boar/Pig
ねこ (Neko) - Cat
くま(Kuma) - Bear
かえる(Kaeru) - Frog
かめ (Kame) - tortoise/turtle
しし (Shishi) - Lion
きんぎょ (kingyo) - Goldfish

Lesson Three - Part Two: Baby Animals
Baby Animals are actually quite easy. All you need to do is add こ(Ko) at the beginning of the animals above.
こ (Ko) actually means small or little.

For example:
こねこ (Koneko) - Kitten
こいぬ (Koinu) - Puppy
こひつじ (Kohitsuji) - Lamb
