Well this thread is practically dead. The DA user has even deactivated his account. Probably due to the viruses.

....why bother reviving it then? Also, as the commissioner of said comic, I can tell you that the comic is, in fact, finished <3

I didn't post the updated link Tailbate did.

Also if this thread had broken links, then there's no point in keeping it is there. We might as well just get rid of it, unless your one of those users who likes to waste space?

My reply had nothing to do with the updated link. That was actual content, something useful, unlike your completely unnecessary post in a year-old thread. Grow up.

If it bothers you THAT much why don't you become a moderator, instead of a troll?!

But whatever, I've got better things to do then to talk to trolls who care more about moderating, then actually stuckahe discussion! WEIRDO!

That's enough you two. I'm not gonna tolorate it if you make any more posts insulting one another. Who the hell cares wif someone bumped a topic? It's a fricking post damnit! And there's no such thing as wasting space on a forum, there's INFINITE space, I'm not gonna delete a topic just because it may be outdated or old, I don't want this to be that kind of forum. I'd rather have the ability to look through either old rp's or discussions and research something someone said a while ago rather than just havign the most recent posts being the only ones available.

So that's that. and Fgrin, if you have a suggestion for a moderator to do somethign, PM them about it, don't go posting it in public.

Iron there's no point in having threads if they're filled with broken links.

All that's going to do is upset some people.

Now granted the links aren't exact dead in this case, Tailbate prooved that by supplying an up to date link, the user in question was just moved that's all, if that's the case, fair enough.

Just a bit of friendly advice, It's better to update links then to leave dead ones, there is a little something I liketo use sometimes called the 'edit' button. I'm sure that's just dandy for removing dead links and replacing them with life ones. If they can't be updated, then what's the point of the thread, sure there's infinate amonts of virtual space, but still there's no point in keeping links in a thread if the links no longer work. But if you want people to be dissapointed by offering them many dead links, then that's up to you.

No offence, pal, but all this wittering on about using up space, which has been proven to be crap, and claiming a year old post will disappoint people for a dead link is starting to annoy me.

Irongut is the admin of this forum, so it is up to him whether to remove topics or posts by banned users. If you want to make a suggestion, PM him, but don't go around causing problems and stirring shit up. Also, you would do well to be a little more respectful with Irongut and the moderators, else you might find yourself on the wrong end of a ban yourself.

Just a little warning.

Fine, I regret opening my mouth now.

Perhaps I should just shut up all together then!

I completely agree it's much better to have good links instead of dead ones, and that the edit button is easy to use and I do in fact use it (I've made plenty of edits on here before). The point is meister, that it's a matter of when it's the right place and right way to open your mouth. I read every PM I get and do what I can to follow the advice in them if it's sound. If you were to say, send me a PM that said: "Hey Iron, the link in this topic is dead" I'd probably thank you and go to the topic and either replace the dead link with the live one if it's been posted, or add a note that the link is dead in the original topic.

Also remember that it's not that big of a frickin deal. It's just an old topic on the bottom of a forum (which got bumped to the top of the list when you posted in it by the way). And also what's the point in keeping a thread if it's old and the link is dead? because there's no real reason to delete it, which is the equivalent of censoring it, wiping it out, shredding the record, wiping the hard drive without a backup, etc. My personality is that of an archiver and so if it's not causing harm like say, a troll thread or spam thread (which I WILL delete), then there's no point in taking the time and energy to go pruning things. THAT, and the fact that there may be something a user said in one of the replies that someone might want to look up later, such as someone who remembered the name of the comic and wanted to look it up but didn't remember the name of the artist, or say they gave a piece of advice to someone they wanted to copy and paste, or whatever else.
