[align=center]TUDORS SAGA TIMELINE (1503 - 1532)[/align] 1503 - Margaret Tudor marries James IV by proxy with Patrick Hepburn, Earl of Bothwell, standing in for James.
- Elizabeth of York, mother of Henry VIII dies on 11th February. - James and Margaret are married in person.
1509 - Henry VIII succeeds his father to the throne of England.
- Henry marries Alessandra Emiliana di Medici y di Sforza (AU) *
1510 - Cordelia Tudor is born. (AU)*
1511 - Henry joins the Holy League against France.
- Katherine of Aragon is sent to England as Ambassador of Spain in the English Court after the war. Henry courts her. (AU)
- Henry VIII married Katherine of Aragon and she is declared Queen of England. (AU)
1512 - On 10th April, Margaret Tudor gives birth to the future James V at Linlithgow Palace.
- Henry claims the throne of France and sent troops unsuccessfully into Spain.
1513 - 35,000-strong English army, led by Henry VIII, lands at Calais, which is ruled by England.
- After an appeal from France, James sends word to Henry on 26th July that he will invade Northumberland.
- Katherine of Aragon, as Queen Regent, march at the head of an army to the North to confront the Scots.
- King James IV of Scotland is killed at the Battle of Flodden as he led his men on the invasion of Northcumberland. James's son becomes James V of Scotland at the age of 18 months.
1514 - England and France declare a truce in their warfare. Mary Tudor, sister of Henry , marries Louis XII.
- Margaret Tudor gives birth to twins - Alexander and Annabella - at Strling Castle. ( AU) *
1516 - Cardinal Wolsey appointed lord chancellor.
- Elizabeth Blount becomes Henry’s mistress.
- Princess Mary is born.
1517 - The Protestant Reformation begins when Martin Luther nails his "95 Theses" against the Catholic practice of selling indulgences, on the church door at Wittenberg
1518 - Wolsey sets up the Treaty of London and gets temporary universal peace.
1519 - Charles V becomes holy Roman emperor.
- Henry's illegitimate son, Henry Fitzroy, is born.
1520 - Henry meets Francis I of France at the Field of Cloth of Gold; Francis fails to gain his support against Holy Roman Emperor, Charles V.
- Emperor Charles V and Henry meet at Dover and agreed to an Anglo-French commercial treaty.
- Mary Boleyn becomes Henry's mistress.
1521 - Henry orders the execution of the duke of Buckingham and writes a book on his Catholic beliefs.
- Henry receives the title "Defender of the Faith" from Pope Leo X for his opposition to Martin Luther
1522 - England declares war on France and Scotland. Holy Roman Emperor Charles V visits Henry and signed the Treaty of Windsor. Both monarchs agreed to invade France.
- Henry ends his relationship with Mary Boleyn. But the King keeps seeing her on and off through the years.
1525 - Cardinal Wolsey presents Hampton Court Palace to Henry.
1526 - Mary Boleyn gave birth to a son, called Henry - he was widely assumed to be the son of King Henry VIII although not acknowledged as such. There is no evidence to support or deny this.
1527 - Henry VIII and King Francis of France signed the treaty of Westminster.
1529 - King Henry VIII becomes totally obsessed with the Katharine of Aragon lady-in-waiting Anne Boleyn. (AU)
- Henry starts divorce proceedings against Katherine.(AU)
- Wolsey fails to find a solution to Henry’s divorce and Henry fires him.
- Thomas More becomes Chancellor, replacing Wolsey.
1530 - Henry appoints Thomas Boleyn to the position of Lord Privy Seal. - Chancellor More began his persecution of Protestants with the burning at the stake of Thomas Hitton in 1530, Thomas Bliney and Richard Beyfield in 1531 and James Bainham in 1532 among others.
1532 - Henry banishes Katherine to Ampthill. He send his daughter Mary to Hatfield.(AU)
- Henry moves Anne Boleyn into more luxurious apartments and assigned her ladies. (AU)
- Anne Boleyn is granted the title of Lady Marquess of Pembroke.
- Anne accompanies Henry VIII Tudor to Calais, France.
-Henry and Francis I signed a secret treaty against Charles V.
- Thomas More resigns as Chancellor.

[align=center]1533[/align] - Henry sends Anne Boleyn to Hever and considers bring back Katherine of Aragon to the Court. (AU)
- Henry Tudor orders Thomas More back to Court and he becomes Chancellor again. (AU)
- Henry throws a massive Masquerade ball for his courtiers, to celebrate the return of Mary Tudor and Cordelia Tudor to Whitehall. Unknown to everyone except a few of his trusted advisers, Katherine of Aragon was also to return on that night. (AU)
- The King entitles Thomas Cromwell as Baron of Wimbledon.
- The Act of Succession is enacted. Already there is some dissent about it.
- Sir Harold Neville and Ladies Elizabeth Darrell and Jane Seymour are sent to the Tower for refusing the Act of Succession.
- The King has a passionate tryst with Lady Margaret Wyatt.
- The King and Anne Boleyn scheme to have the Lady Marquess marry a nobleman while keeping their affair.
- The Ambassador from Scotland, Adam Otterbum, arrives in England to assist Princess Annabella Stewart.
- Henry VIII sends Henry Courtenay and Daniel Francis in an embassy to Spain. In that way, he gets rid of Anne Boleyn's new husband and his daughter Cordelia's husband as well.
- George Boleyn, Viscount of Rochford and brother of the Countess and Lady Marquess Anne Boleyn, returns to Court after a trip to France.
- Serafina di Medici from Milan arrives at Court as Representative of the Sforza government in Milan. Henry and the representative negotiate a secret pact between the two realms.
- A pact between England and Milan is signed and Parliament is ordered to ratify it. With this Pact, Henry increases his treasury and Serafina of the Medici and Sforza family increases her status and wealth and becomes a representative of Milan in Henry VIII's court.
- Preparations for the Meeting of the Kings are underway.
- Lady Jane Seymour, Lady Elizabeth Darrell and Duke Neville are released from the Tower.
- May, 1533. The court moves to Calais and the Meeting of the Kings begins in earnest.
- June, 1533. The Meeting of the Kings in Calais ended and the Court of Henry VIII moved back to Whitehall Palace. Among the achievements of the Meetings: A Trade Agreement and Non-Aggression pact between England and the Empire, a non-aggression pact between Scotland and England, a possible marriage proposal between Scotland and France and the accord of the four Kings to condemn the teachings of Luther as heresy.
- Because of his success in negotiating with the empire, Thomas Cromwell is appointed Chancellor of the Exchequer and Marquis of Essex (AU).
- Anne Boleyn is with child. This revelation has been kept secret from the Court, although her "husband" Henry Courtenay threatened to expose everything and lie in order to ruin her plans.
- Elena Borgia and James Beaufort, Duke of York, got married in an elegant ceremony in Whitehall. With the marriage, the Pact between England and the Principality of the Romagna became official.
- THE KING HAS BEEN POISONED! After drinking a concoction that was not meant for him, the king collapsed. Katherine of Aragon, per the directives of the Act of Succession of 1533, became Queen Regent and head of the government. An investigation of the attempt on the King's life is underway.
