UNFAIR TRADE RULE

Guys,
I have a major issue with the rule tells us we can not deal for the "created" prospects.
Unfortunately, we have a small league with many computer GMs. And many of us, obviously, try to get good players from the computer GMs.
Some GMs have been able to get superstars signed to great contracts (Nash). There's an offer for Crosby or Ovechkin, every other sim.
I've seen some BRUTAL deals, where the computer got ripped off. But on the other hand, we're told that we can't make offers for the "created prospects" because we want all the teams to be competitive.
IMO, you could drive a bus through the hole in that logic.
I think we need a rule that's fair.
If you're going to allow trading with computer GMs, you have to have consistency. Either you can trade for anyone, with no rules. Or you can't.
Any rule that prevents me from trading Bertuzzi and three firsts for a prospect, no matter how good, and that allows Nash to get traded for two scrubs and two second rounders (IE, not a single impact player for a superstar), is flawed.

Boy, people in this league sure are talkative.

No one said you couldn't get Nash yourself.... Maybe that's where this turmoil comes from... or the fact that the computer doesn't want Big Bert. Hell I understand everyone trying to get the best team possible, but picture someone with 5 created players (one complete line 2-d and a full forward line), and what would they need to win it all for years to come ........ a second line and a goalie!
The Created players are almost unreal in they way they are gonna develop (hell look at them now) even the ones rushed to the NHL this year don't look out of place at all. (NOT Superstar status yet... but well on ther way to be.)

Hell I would trade every pick I had for the next 10 years to have a team of created players (but how much fun is that for everyone else?) I mean some people are unhappy with the way the Rangers are playing... Now imagine them with 2 or 3 created players and how many GMs would hang around the league....

The added point of trading for other superstar players (ie Crosby or Ovechkin) has always been a part of this game. The created players did not REPLACE someone off team rosters they were ADDITIONS, and AMAZING additions at that... So they are considered SPECIAL circumstance players hence the special rules involving them.

Now I'm not saying that an absolute abolishment of trading should be the answer but I think having all teams with a Crosby type player allows them a corner stone to build upon, whether it be through the draft or trading at least they have one solid player to work with til they are 25 (when they become UFAs.) Once the created players hit UFA then by all means they are attainable for everyone..... but these are just my views.....

Look Charbs, for some reason, we have a league with 30 fake Sidney Crosby's.
And for some reason, you think teams are capabe of making certain trades, but not others.

It's arbitrary.

It's inconsistent.

You will allow a team to fleece another for Rick Nash.

But you won't allow a team to OVERPAY for Crazy Legs.

It's illogical, and I don't see how anyone could support it.
