Poor Cally! I know she was distraught from finding out she was married to a Cylon, but why would she hand her baby over to another Cylon and one she thought was having an affair with her husband?

And seriously, wouldn't you think that there would be a security guard stationed at the landing bay or at least a security camera?

I have to say last night's episode was very disappointing. Where were the security guards or the other bay workers when a very disdraught Calli goes walking down a launch bay? I can see why she was disdraught and I can see that she would question her son's role in Cylon future planning, but if she loves her baby she would not take him to the airlock!

I just had a thought, maybe little Derrick, healed by a remote Syx, is another Human Cylon half-breed?

This latest episode wasted even more storytelling time then last week's. The commercial have more plot to them then an entire hour epi.

I will watch this show to its end but I cannot say the caliper of its writing matches its epic beginnings. The mini-series and the first season remain top for me.

I can understand why Cally would decide to take her baby with her. She was already depressed, and the thought that her husband was a Cylon and her baby was half Cylon would have been enough to send her over the edge. She loved her child and couldn't see any hope for either of them, so she was going to take him with her since she had sunk so low she couldn't see another viable alternative.

It's also interesting to witness the Cylons experiencing what betrayal from the underclasses feels like.

How many stories have we seen on the news about some mentally unstable mother who drove her car into a lake with her kids in the backseat. Cally was not in her right mind and she was probably thinking the same thing all those other women were thinking "My baby will be in a better place." Chilling yes...but realistic.

What isn't realistic is that there wouldn't be one single other person in that hanger bay. They are at war for crying out loud. The would be running 24/7 operations and every hangar bay would be used.

I'm not sure I like the direction they are going with Apollo and Roslin. I do like that we are seeing some dissension in the cylon ranks. Well, they wanted to be human. Let's see, jealousy, anger, pettiness, betrayal....yep, they sure sound human to me.

On a positive note, how neat was the scene with Roslin in the hospital and Adama at her bedside reading to her. Awww.

I do like the dynamics between these two. Roslin has all the makings of a petty dictator if unchecked, and Lee is starting to become the crusader and voice for the people. I like the way Lee drew a line in the sand with her and the way she responded. These are two battle worn but worthy adversaries, and there's Tom Zarek pitting them against each other for reasons that will no doubt serve his own purposes.

Another element of interest in this episode is the transformation of Tory into a duplicitous Cylon who will callously sacrifice a human to save herself and a half Cylon child. Her actions were cold, heartless and totally calculated to get what she wanted. It will be interesting to find out how Tyrol will react when he finds out she was the one who killed his wife and why.

This is one of those well written episodes that sets the stage for events that will unfold later in the story.

You nailed it Geo, when it comes to the human-cylons. They wanted to be more human. Be careful what you wish for. Tom Zarek sure does seem to be stirring the pot between Lee and Roslyn. I do think that she is kinda bringing this on herself. She has been very stubborn and now it's coming back at her. Lee is just trying to be the guy to do the right thing, and if that thing is part of taking Roslyn down a notch, that'd make Zarek happy. Starbuck as usual doesn't seem to be making many friends, including her hubby. I wonder how much off her rocker she'd be if she knew her hubby is a Cylon.
