So I have my motion menus for an advanced dvd, the thumbnails animating do work. I did have some transistions put in, but they were low quality so i deleted them. (you apply a transition to a button) I creadted higher quality ones and rendered the motion menus. Every thumbnail seems to work like a charm. BUT the transistions are non existant. Whats going on? I really don't want to create a sequence for every one. |

So is there supposed to be a transition from the menu to the actual video when you click on the thumbnail? From what I understand, you'd import your transition media, turn it into a timeline. Then you'd select the thumbnail, set the action when being clicked to cue your transition media. Then set the end action of your transition media (what happens when the media is done playing) to cue the start of your video. |

See, In cs4 each button has a transistion tab to do that the easy way. Just drag it. but it wasn't working |

I can't do this Ryan. If i set a timeline to the video thumbnail buttons, the motion menu will display the transistion rather than the actual video clip. This is an inconvienience. |

Hmmm... Could you post screenshots or send your Encore file? I have CS4. I'm trying to visualize this, but it's really hard just with text lol. |

Never Mind. I just did what you suggested for the text based buttons, and left the video thumbnails transition-less. I'm producing the dvd's today. |
