Welcome to Warriors: Into the Elements

After much discussion between the admins and moderators, ItE has been shut down from roleplaying. The site will remain intact if anyone wishes to come back and review their characters and roleplaying.

I would like to thank everyone for making this site so great and would like to invite you all to join my new Warriors RP site

(Link will be posted when the new site is finished)

Okay, I really hate to be rude here, but this right here? It needs taken care of.

As most of you have almost DEFINITELY seen, people are making INCREASINGLY short profiles- something that, unless I am mistaken, we decide just wouldn't do, a long time ago.
In fact, there are a few...specific...people doing this. And I say right now: It needs to STOP. We shouldn't bend the rules just for them, they should MAKE THEIR PROFILES THE REQUIRED LENGTH.
I realize I've made short profiles, but these profiles are usually for kits, who really don't have much of a personality or history. The profiles I'm whining about are for full grown cats, however, and give little to no detail whatsoever.
I also think that all these 'near-god' cats need to stop. And by that, I mean these cats who 'guide souls' or 'control weather'.
I REALLY hate to be so rude, but, seriously? A family of cats that control things only gods should control, and can travel between the Shadow forest and StarClan, and do so frequently? I really think thats overdoing it. Now we have maybe 4 pending profiles for these things(I realize I have Grim, but I haven't used him in ages, and I don't plan to ever again) and honestly, I think they need to be toned down a lot.
In addition to that, we need to stop all this sentient 'other animal' stuff. A bird or a raccoon here or there is okay, but as I've stated, this RPG is about CATS, and all this 'talking badger' 'talking fox' and once even 'talking completely made up animal that makes no sense whatsoever'. We don't exactly need to stop it, we just need to make it so that there are very FEW sentient other animals- counting the 'clans' of other animals, we have maybe around 20 non-cats.(I didn't take the time to check, so I guessed) I realize I partly contributed to this with my Wolf Pack, but they're long gone now, so I think of them as irrelevant.

I'm sorry if anyone thinks this is too harsh, but it just really needed to be said.

*sighs* Yeah the increasingly lacking profiles have begun to upset me too but I've let a few of them slide if the person is new... Which I REALLY shouldn't have... I know.

As for the powers... I'm not even going to speak on that subject right now... for the reason that I may go into a two page long rant that I don't have time to write.

And yeah... I've already said something about the number of other animals...

I don't mind the groups of other animals for occasional plots (Blood and Fang, the original wolf pack plot that never really happened), but there's just too many of them floating around now. The focus of this RP is supposed to be on the cats.

I'm going to crack down on profiles and powers a bit more. I really don't want to see another one with less than a complete sentance for personality or history.

@Galeclaw: Although sometimes I have a hard time coming up with more than a sentence or two in those categories, as well as description. I can't really add more than eye color and fur color. I have to stretch myself for those.

^_^ Well that's okay. Make one sentence about fur. One about eye color. And another about any other special characteristics (scars, size, etc...) That's three

Another thing I forgot to mention is the recent 'No use of commas or periods' used by certain people...Idk why, but that just gets on my nerves...

I don't mind a breif physical description. But when you have one word for their personality or half a sentance or "unknown" for their history, it really bugs me.

Size. Never thought of that.
And the fur color and eyes are generally too small to fit in their own sentences, and sometimes I wants no scars.

What about tail length, coat type and length, detailed markings, abilities like speed, and features like ears and muzzle?

She doesn't mean like just scars... anything special.

-pokes my profiles-

Making them detailed aren't really hard, if you really try. Take Sorrowsong for example. Notice how I split the appearance part of her profile into their own little 'sections'? You just need to expand. Elaborate.

For pelt:

How long/short is it? What are the markings like? How does it look in sun/moonlight? Is it coarse or smooth? Thin or thick? Which side of the family did you get it from--your mother or your father? Do the markings differ on the neck and upper torso from the rest of the body? Is the tail darker than the body? How many different shades are there? Is there any blemishes on the cat's pelt--missing clumps of fur, scars, cuts?

For eyes:

How shiny are they? What EXACT colour? Are they dark or light? Can you tell the cat's emotion(s) just by looking into their eyes? How sharp are they? Are they blind in one or both eyes (remember, white cats with blue eyes tend to be deaf)? Are they unusual (green and yellow are the most commen eyecolours. Blue, violet and red are the least commen. Please note that pure black cats cannot have blue eyes unless they're blind)? Are there more than one colour in their eyes? Do they look different depending on the lighting? Are they still developing?

For size:

What's the cat's shape--tall and bulky? Thin and streamlined? What's it's height--taller than average, smaller than average, or average? Are there any body parts that are bigger/smaller than average, like big paws, a bobtail, or overly large ears? Does the cat have a lot of muscle? Is s/he strong or weak?
The meow is greater than the hiss.
