Welcome to Warriors: Into the Elements

After much discussion between the admins and moderators, ItE has been shut down from roleplaying. The site will remain intact if anyone wishes to come back and review their characters and roleplaying.

I would like to thank everyone for making this site so great and would like to invite you all to join my new Warriors RP site

For those of you who have been wondering about the 'Werecats' I mentioned in Strigoi's journal, I am going to make an information source about them right here.
This is considered CANON, however the Werecats will not appear in the RP.(There is a possibility they may in the future, but currently they are not scheduled to make an appearence) So, here's information about them.

=Origins=
It is unknown truly from whence the werecats came. Some theorize that they had been in this territory since Cats had existed. They had been there just as long as the Vampires, and had lived in peace with them.
However, one season, the Werecat leader died, and his place was taken by a rebellious, violent young warrior. He had good intentions, but his actions turned the werecats from an intelligent group into primitive tribals.
This sparked the war they held with the Vampires.

=Society=
Version 1.0: The beginnings of Werecat society was...odd. They were the same size, but had large saberteeth. Much like teeny tiny sabertooth tigers. These were animalistic and unintelligent, like Cavemen.

Version 2.0: Werecat society evolved to sentient levels, and they formed a society much like a clan. There were Hunters, who hunted prey, and Clawtooths, who fought like soldiers(the name Clawtooth is a reference to the phrase 'To fight tooth and claw'), the Witch Doctor, who was the healer, and the Pack Leader, for they called their society The Pack. They were peaceful, yet slightly barbaric in nature. They made friends with the Vampires easily due to the two groups sharing the idea of peace.

Version 3.0: Led by a fearsome young Clawtooth, a new way of life was established for The Pack, downgrading many of their aspects. After several generations, the Werecats had devolved to less-sapient, hostile, barbarians. They could only manage a small, broken version of catspeak that sounded like Cavemen talk, and attacked almost anything that moved. The changes to their allies sparked the Vampire/Werecat war.

Version 4.0: It is unknown if there even IS a version 4.0. The Werecats were driven out at the end of the Vampire/Werecat war. Nobody has seen them since, so it is not known if they have remained as Werecat '3.0's' or have evolved or devolved yet again.

=About them=
Werecats were slightly more muscular than a regular cat. They resembled regular cats very much, except that they were larger by a decent amount, hairier, and slightly more prone to violence.
During the Full Moon, or as they referred to it, Blood Moon, every Werecat would at once become their true 'Werecat' selves, gaining more muscle, sleeker hair, bloodshot eyes, larger fangs, and would be able to take more damage(they could be slashed twice as much as a regular cat could, and not be downed). During this one night, they are incapable of speech, only of grunts and growls. While this speech may mean nothing to a regular cat/vampire, the Werecats seem to understand it perfectly.
It should be noted that Werecats are only capable of breeding during the blood moon, in their True forms. Even they have not been able to figure out why this is, its just the way things are. Due to this, their numbers were fewer, but this was compensated due to their superior strength.(Sort of like the 300 Spartans XD)

A werecat would be a person that turns into a cat.

"Were" = "man" in Latin.

*cough*

For some reason, the name "Moontouched" comes to mind. It seems like a better description to me.

This totally gave me an idea for some sort of sidestory, though.

...Meh, I already called them Werecats, so...I'll just stick with it. *shrug* Besides, like a CATS going to know that.

Sorry, but I don't think I'm going to be able to see anything about these guys without haveing to supress the urge to type "LOL MANCAT." I've just been obsessively reading Carrie Vaugn's Kitty and the Midnight Hour series (they're about a werewolf named Kitty who does a radio show, seriously awesome read, btw), so were-anything is likely to drive me insane. >_>
