Lulu had sat at her house all night, trying to think of a way to make Christian feel better about the whole Elizabeth situation. She had decided to make him breakfast and bring it to him as a surprise. She knocked on the door and waited with a picnic basket in her hand.

Christian rolled out of bed and walked forward toward the door. For some odd reason, despite all that was going on her couldn't explain the weird mood he was in. He was no where near where he should be. He was actually. . . happy. He opened the door and smile spread across his face at the sight of Lulu.

"Lulu, come on in."

Christian looked down at the picnic basket, and his grin grew even bigger.

"Your brought food. . . . . my fridge looks like a ghost town."

"I know," Lulu smiled, getting onto her tip toes and kissing his cheek lightly. "I just wanted to make sure you're doing okay. And... I missed you a little..."

Christian smiled and moved the basket to the middle of the living room.

"So you can't go a few day without me? It happens to everyone eventually, it's the curse of being me."

Christian grabbed her gently and kissed her on the lips

"I'm glad you came over, I missed you too."

"All things considered, I'm doing better than I expected."

Christian bent over the picnic basket

"What's in here?"

"Fruit, some bagels with peanut butter on them, and some Starbucks. I can't go without my caffeine," Lulu laughed, pulling the contents out and spreading them on a blanket on his floor. "If it wasn't raining, we could go to the park with this."

"Well, my sister-in-law is pregnant and the baby might be my boyfriend's... I'm holding up," she explained to him.
