"But here I am, healthy and well." I say. "And I know have friends like you pulling for me when I wanted to give up." I added. "And you're stuck with me, for a very long time so, any attempt to get rid of me, will fail." I smile as I put my hand under his chin. "Understand." |

"I understand," I said as I smiled at her. Alexis was always someone I could count on. Maybe Jacob stealing my fortune would help me get to appreciate the finer things in life, like good friends. |

I smiled as John began tugging at my hair, it was something I was used to because Molly still did it to me. John looked happy with me, hopefully I'd be able to spend more time with him. "I'll use every resourse and favor that I have to find this guy, Jax." I said. And when my people did find him, he'd be getting a not so pleasent visit from me. |

"Thanks," I told her. I really cared about Alexis, and if anyone could find this guy, it'd be her. "Alright, John, stop pulling on her hair, that's not how you treat a lady." |

I laughed a bit. "I think he does like me, indeed." I smiled as John was comfortable with me. I did feel bad for him though, it was only him and Jax, and he had no mother figure. |

I picked Molly up and held her in my lap. She looked just like her mother. Unfortunately she had a little bit of Ric Lansing in her. "You really do have two beautiful daughters," I told her. "Even though their fathers leave a lot to be desired." |

"Now now, it's not pick out Sonny and Rics' faults Day." I say with a smile. "And thats my job anyways." I said with a laugh. I hated Ric for what he did to me but, I had Molly and thats all I wanted when it came to Ric. |

"John's turning into quite the ladie's man," I told her. "He's already got a fan in both Molly and Bobbie's granddaughter." |

"I think Molly finds him interesting." I smiled as I noticed how Molly looked at John. She looked at everyone like that, though. She was always looking around. "And I think John got that ladies man trait from you, my dear friend." I smirk. |

"Well, hopefully he'll make better decisions that I have," I said. "I'd hate to see John get hurt again and again like I have." |

"I have to say the same about Molly." I say. "Hey now, look all your decisions weren't bad, I was your good one." I teased. |

"Well, to be fair I'd have loved to marry you under better circumstances," I told her. "I wish I could have given you something a lot better than a Vegas wedding." |

"I think I have marriage of convenience stamped on my forehead." I laughed. "First you, and then Ric..Whos' next..Hopefully no one.." "But you and I were much different, we respected each other" |

"That's true, and I still do," I told her. "Why, if I had my money, I'd give you the perfect wedding anytime you wanted, anywhere you wanted. I'd marry you again in a heartbeat, Alexis." |

I reached for his hand. "That is very sweet of you, Jax." I say. "And I would marry you, too. I was happy even if what we had wasn't real. You were the best relationship I had." |

"Who says what we had wasn't real?" I asked as I felt her hand on mine. "We loved each other, and we were willing to go to any length to help our friends. I think we made a great couple." |

"For a marriage of convenience, it was the best marriage I had." I said, truthfully as I continued to rest my hand on his. "Our relationship was successful because we cared about each other and would do anything to protect each other and our friends." |

I smiled as I felt Alexis's hand in mine. "Sometimes I wish that I'd have never gotten that divorce. I could have saved a lot of heartache by staying with the woman who ever truly understood me." |

"I agree. I could have been happy with what we had." I admit. "Okay, so maybe it wasn't what we expected but, I could have lived with it." I say. "And it would have left me with less heartache; and if I was married to you, I wouldnt have had all the heartache Ric caused me." |

"I'm sorry Ric caused you so much pain," I told her. "I should have been a better friend and stood up for you when I heard what he did." |

"Jax, it isn't your fault." I say. "I went ahead poorly in handling it." I add. "And I kept it to myself; especially from you and Nikolas." I tell him. "I know Nikolas would have went after him in a heart beat." I say, knowing Nikolas would because I was the few family that Nikolas had. "And you, I know you would have went after him and I wasn't fit at the time to be your defense attorney if something happened to Ric." I say, knowing Jax would have went after him if I told him. |

"Well, he's out of your life now, that's all that matters," I told her. "And I'll be there to keep you safe if he ever tries anything, or tries to take Molly away from you." |

"How nice, my white and shinning armor to protect me." I teased. Most women saw Jax as the type of man to keep them safe; and that included me. "But, I'm lucky to have you. Who ever thought after a marriage of convenience we'd still be best friends." I smiled. |

"Well, who knows?" I asked. "Maybe if Ned and Chloe hadn't been in our lives, maybe it could have been more than just a marriage of convenience." |

I smiled, knowing it could have been more if we were under different circumstances. "Things could have been different; for both of us, I think." I tell him. "But, I know you'll find someone. Someone who deserves you." |
