I had been making my way around town when I finally found this old abandoned club. Walking up to the doors, I gave a light tug on the handles and realized that they were unlocked. Shrugging my shoulders and looking over my right one to make sure that no one was around, I opened the door and walked in further. This place was absolutely perfect. I pulled the door shut behind myself. I kept going further and further into the old club, taking it all in. The ambience.... the atmosphere.... It was absolutely perfect. Thirty minutes later, I walked outside the club and closed the doors. I was going to leave it like I found it before reaching into my pocket for my cell phone. I dialled the number on the for lease sign, starting the ball rolling on opening up my own club. This town might get more interesting after all. OOC: Think Luke's old club on GH, but not as loud. Kinda of a mesh between his and the Cellar. |

I was getting ready for the Christmas Party. Tonight I was going to get rid of Max Brady once and for all and reclaim my daughter. My cell phone started ringing. Who the hell was calling now? This had better be important. "Hello?" |

I almost hung up when I continued to hear the ringing of the other line. Finally someone picked up. "Hi. My name is Logan Hayes and I was hoping that we could set up a meeting about your property down on South Haven Drive." |

That piece of shit property I bought? Who'd be interested in that place. "Sure, fine, come by my office after the New Year and we'll discuss the price." Maybe could get rid of a worthless piece of property and actually make a profit from it. |

"Actually I'd like to see about buying it from you before then. I'd like to have it up and running by New Years." I told the man. It was absolutely perfect for the club I saw it turning into and I knew that I could indeed have it ready for a New Years Eve opening. |

"I'm a very busy man," I told him as I adjusted my tie. "I'm afraid I don't time to meet with you anytime before then." |

I shrugged, knowing that the man on the other end of the line couldn't see it. "That's too bad. I guess I'll just have to find another piece of property to outright buy. Afterall, I myself am a very busy man. It's a shame to see a perfectly good piece of property just sitting there wasting away." |

"Very well, the properties worth more to me as a parking lot, anyway," I said. I knew he was going to play hardball, but I was a pro at this game. |

Though I really did like this piece of land, I could tell that the guy wasn't going to part with it. "Either name your price.... or I'm hanging up." |

"100 grand sounds adequate," I said. I could easily triple that just by building condos over the land. |

It was more than I really wanted to pay for the land and the buildings, but it would be more than worth it. I knew for a fact that I could easily make that and more off of the club within the first few months and turn quite a large profit within a year. "A little steep for me. But hey, thanks anyway..." I prepared to hit the end button on my cell. |

"Very well," I told him. "I'll just find someone else to purchase the land." He was trying to get me to lower the price. Now I knew there might be some worth in the land, the price just got much higher. |

I thought it over, knowing that he wasn't going to lower the price any. I gathered that it just went up. "One hundred, twenty-five thousand for the lot with the club... and add another seventy-five thousand for the adjoining lot. Final offer." Logan stated firmly. If the guy didn't go for two hundred thousand dollars of cold hard cash, then he'd just have to find somewhere else for his club. |

"Come by my office tonight," I told him. "And we'll come to an arrangment. How does 10 p.m. sound?" |

Naive little fool. He sounded pretty young, but he might have the cash to back up his offer. I was going to place a few calls to find out just who this kid is. |

I arrived outside of Jacobs' office at five 'til ten. My lawyer, Jeffrey Clarkson, was by my side with contracts prepared in his briefcase. I held a silver case in my left hand as I raised my right hand to knock. |

I was waiting with my lawyers for Mr. Hayes to show up. I told security to lead him in when he arrived. |

Jeffrey and I were lead into the office by Mr. Underwoods' security team. I looked around, giving the room a once over before I turned to look at the man behind the desk. |

"Good evening to you as well, Mr. Underwood." I replied, taking the seat across from his desk. "No thank you. I'd rather get right down to business if you don't mind." |

"Of course," I told him. "But first, tell me, what do you want with the property in question? Why is it of so much value to you?" |

I shrugged. The man had every right to know what I intended to use the property for. He'd find out one way or another. "I'm planning to open up a night club. Perfect place for anyone to hang out and have a good time, do a little dancing, a little drinking, and paying good money for it at the same time." |
