I looked at my watch and sighed softly. He was only one minute late, but it felt more like ten. Spinelli and I had decided to meet up here to go to the wedding together. The hospital was nearly the same distance apart from our homes, which were on the opposite sides of it, so we figured that we'd just meet here to save one of us from extensive driving.

I looked down at my purple dress and hoped that I made the right selection. I was between this one and the green one and figured that I'd just pick this one because I liked the shoes that went with it better.

Come on Spinelli; where are you?

The Jackal had overslept the night previous, as I had been up late trying to find the perfect wedding gift for the male blonde one and his life partner. I got to the hospital as fast as I could, my dress shoes in one hand and my tie in the other.

"My most sincere apologies, The Jackal failed to have his caffeine intake this morning."

I looked at him and just started laughing. It looked like he had just woken up within the last half hour because he wasn't even wearing his shoes and his tie wasn't on. He probably just threw his suit on and went straight here.

"It also looks like you overslept."

I stepped up to him and took the tie from his grasp. I figured that he'd need help with this, so I'd just help him now versus later. I did his tie and smoothed it out before I took a step back from him.

"Okay, just put your shoes on and we're good to go."

I hopped along as I pulled my dress shoes on.

"The Jackal must compliment you on looking totally beautiful in that dress."

I smiled brightly, flattered by his compliment. I was glad that he liked my dress because that was exactly why I picked it. It was also the reason why I took so much time picking out what dress to wear, as well as getting ready in general. I wanted to show him that I could clean up well compared to the usual casual clothes that I wore.

"Thank you Spinelli."

I watched as he put his dress shoes on and debated on whether I should stop walking so he could finish.

"You happen to look extremely dashing. Tuxedos definitely suit you."

I blushed as she complimented the Jackal on his wardrobe. I wasn't used to dressing up, but the male blonde one and his life partner had become good friends to the Jackal since he arrived in town.

"Thank you," I said as I got my other shoe on. "The Jackal looks forward to attending this event with you."

I glanced at my watch and bit my lip. We really needed to book it if we wanted to get to the church on time. I walked over to the elevator and pressed the button to go down on the control pannel. I turned to face Spinelli and smiled at him.

"Hopefully we can get there on time, but yeah, I am looking forward to attending this wedding with you too. I'm sure it will be a nice ceremony and there isn't anybody else that I'd rather be going with."

The elevator arrived and I quickly boarded it.

"Fear not, The Jackal shall get us to the wedding on time," I assured her. This was going to be the first wedding the Jackal has attended, and I hoped things worked out for the male blonde one and his future husband.

Once Spinelli was on the elevator, I stepped back from the doors and watched them close. I quick hit the button to the main floor and the elevator began its descent.

"Just don't drive like a crazy person in order to do that."

I laughed and shook my head. That was exactly the sort of thing that I pictured Spinelli doing. I'd rather be a couple of minutes late and slip in the back, than be stressed watching him swerve between cars on the way to the church.

"Do not fear, for the Jackal has procured safe transport to the ceremony," I told her as we headed outside to my new- although slightly used- car. A blue volkswagon beetle that wasn't very large, but it was all the Jackal could afford on his meager salary.

I followed Spinelli over to his car and nearly asked where it was once we ended up by this blue volkswagon beetle. Last time I checked, this wasn't Spinelli's car. Either he forgot where he parked it, or this was his new vehicle.

"Is this yours?"

I asked with a small smile. It was a very nice car and if it was his, I was rather impressed. It looked like it cost quite a bit.

"Yes, this is the Jackal's new method of transport," I said proudly. "Stone Cold required the return of the vehicle he had so graciously loaned me so that he may go on his journey of self discovery."

"That sounds unlike Jason."

I commented with a shrug. I didn't think men like Jason Morgan did those sort of things. I wondered if he'd be back any time soon because I knew that Spinelli really looked up to Jason.

"I hope that he finds what he's looking for."

"I do, as well," I told her. Stone Cold had been through much over the last few months, including the death of the Godfather, Sonny Corinthos. Personally, the Jackal believes he left because he could not stand seeing the Godfather's son Morgan go down his father's path of self destruction. "We shall be at the wedding in a matter of minutes."

"Maybe Morgan can get off that path of self-destruction."

I suggested with a shrug. I believed that a person can get out of nearly any situation if they really put their heart and soul into it. Situations were a person had a gun pointed at him, or her, were unavoidable at times, but decisions could be reversed a lot of the time.

"Okay, wedding here we come."

I got into the passenger's side of his car.

I got into the driver's seat as I started the Jackal's new set of wheel's. Moments later we were headed down the street toward the wedding.

"The Jackal looks forward to sharing a dance with you,"

"I'm not really good at dancing, but I can do the basics just fine."

I replied with a small smile. I was far from a dancing expert, but it wasn't like I was completely helpless. As long as we kept things simple, I would definitely be okay. I wondered if he knew the complicated dances, like the waltz, the foxtrot, and all of those sorts of dances.

"Anything more, than yeah...we might have a problem."

"Worry not, fair maiden, for the Jackal has been watching Dancing With the Stars," I told her. "I may not have all the moves down, but I'm sure we'll do fine."

"I love that show."

I laughed and looked out the car window for a moment. I had watched that show before, but I had no idea if he actually knew how to do those dances from the show, but it would be interesting to find out.

"I don't know any of the dances from it though."

I looked back over at him and smiled.

"The Jackal shall lead the way," I said as we arrived at the church.

Moving to the wedding thread.
