You think the praire is bad? Try the badlands. Also a part of the praire, they are extremely hard to survive in for longer than a couple of days. Five years ago, some boys went there and never returned home. Nobody has ever been able to located them or explain what happened to them. Wind, storms...there is plenty in the badlands to kill an inexperienced person.

The Canoyn is narrow, with very tall and abrupt sides-nobody could really climb them. Perfect for an ambush-place, it is avoided by traders and travellers, no matter whether they are rich or poor.
