Personality: Kathryn Barlow was once a kind, caring woman, teaching children in the local school. After the death of her lover, Sam, she became an angry woman, intent on avenging the spirit of Sam by killing men who treated women with disrespect. History: Kate Barlow's' Histroy starts when she meets Sam, the Black American salesman who sells jam. Sam repaired the school where Kate taught the children of the town. He helped Kate through rough stages in her life, resulting in the two falling in love with one another. But Kate tragically loses Sam after he's shot in the head by white men. This woke up a new part of Kate. She became an anrgy woman, intent on killing the men who treated woman like slaves and avenging the spirit of Sam. She became an outlaw, killing men in every town of the west. When she killed a man, she would kiss them on the cheek, leaving her trademark red lip marks on his cheek.
