I still get the Toronto Star on weekends but find that I read less and less of it the older I get. Last weekend the papers didn't come and the only thing I missed was the crossword puzzle. They have a lot of world news on weekends but reading it makes me feel helpless and a bit depressed so I skip a lot of it and am thinking of cancelling the paper and just buying a crossword puzzle book. Have any of you done this and can you get enough news on line? And what sites do people read for news? |

I wouldn't miss the black fingers from the ink. I may keep it for the winter but if they miss one more time, I will cancel. |

I read all my news on line. I do not even take the free local paper. Dirty fingers and then have to dispose of it. |

I've never had newspapers delivered. Only lived where they were available during university. I enjoy the National Post online. It has stopped trying to limit access. I would like to contribute but the price seems too high. I'm tempted by the NY Times which keeps offering a reasonable price for online access. |

We responded to some delivery promo deals that were almost free. But when the Times dropped their TV magazine we did only the Daily News occasionally. Hated the paper, liked the TV Guide. Now we let the DVR do all the work. I don't need to know what day or time it is recording one of our shows. Edited by Trotsky, Dec 17 2016, 02:12 AM.

There's rarely anything worth watching these days except on PBS so I won't miss the TV guide and the paper didn't arrive this morning so I guess it's time to cancel. |
