My fury: New York has a terrific Classical Music Station, WQXR. Their website used to give you next week's schedule to the minute Now, presumably because of the U.S.hysteria over protecting "intellectual property," they tell you what is playing only after it is playing for a few minutes. Used to be if I wanted Brahm's First Symphony, I just scanned the coming weeks. Now, NADA. Funny how record companies get to OWN Brahm's First Symphony. Same fury when I try to download a 50 year old photograph that has somehow been claimed in ownership by Pinterest. |

Well Trotsky when it comes to musicians they have a real talent, being able to write music, and play it. It's an amazing gift. They feel ripped off when someone can just download it and play it without them getting any kind of remuneration for it. Musicians have to eat too, don't they? Edited by campy, Dec 30 2016, 09:22 PM.
