My my Calm, a lot of reading. I skimmed...good stuff. I will give it more time if it rains or snows. I did not like the calling of this egregious state of profligate borrowing as being blamed on Clinton and Bush while whitewashing Obama's role. He deserves the same, if not MORE blame than the two previous henchmen. I am also tired of hearing since I was a child, about the unsustainability of Social Security: rightwing nonsense that has been prattled so long that it has begun to look like a consensus, at least among the malleable puppet people. To wit: Oh, the baby boomers...so many of them retiring and only poor Pablo to support them all. Then, the argument goes, this situation will get worse and worse. It seems the assumption is that Social Security guarantees eternal life. Well, the baby boom was a demographic spike surrounded, definitionally, by periods of demographic NON-BOOM. So, the baby boomers will not live forever and when the last is gone, a period of small senior demographics is upon us. The U.S. population is growing FAST with millions of new immigrants joining Pablo in the workforce while granny and grandpa go to their reward. Democrats need stand up to the braying pundits screeching about the need to slash retirement benefits. But I fear that just like when Ronald Ray-Gun did the same they will capitulate because that is what Democrats DO. But for the Ray-Gun SS cuts of 1983, we'd have double the benefits we have now. I don't know what "reading" you are talking about when saying that there was so much to read. It was just a link to an audio file or a flash presentation. If you clicked the pill and then completed the jig-saw puzzle, then I never thought anybody would do that. I have not added content to that area of reading for about 5 years now. I thought that most would just listen to the short voice commentary and laugh. Maybe you were referring to many of my posts here and pointing out they might be too long a post for some visitors. You are probably right there. Edit: 12 noon EST Actually, the more data that people type here, more importantly, the more links people place within a post here in these forums, the more likely it will move up the Google Search module. More people will notice this website and perhaps join and meet with us "Seniors". To move up and be noticed in Mouse Land, yuh gotta have content. For future Google Searches, perhaps 5 years down the road, some human will be awful damn happy to have found the information they were looking for at these World Wide Seniors Forums. I would suspect that within a Nano-Second after I posted this message here, Google and The Clowns had already cached it on their servers. For sure, before the passing of 2 hours. I am quite certain that there are at least 20 different robots roaming around this page at this very moment. Calm Edited by Calm, Jan 1 2017, 06:26 AM.

I, of course, completed the puzzle (I'm like that) and then clicked something, probably the pill and got: http://www.pair-annoyed.com:9090/nucleus/index.php Yes, a LOT of "reading" and many, many links to more reading. No complaints, but more than I can handle today. (Today is for DRINKING.) :wineglasssmile.gif: Edited by Trotsky, Jan 1 2017, 06:44 AM.

Oh! I should go and take that old content off line. It is easier to do that rather than crack open the flash file itself and remove the link which takes you to an old blog. I have not even viewed that site myself for at least 5 years. I created the graphics to accompany the home page of my first website and then just linked to my blog, in about 2002. Maybe I should of posted it as a Plain-Jane .mp3 file without the Flash action? But, I thought that the web page or the graphic sort of gave a person the "gist" of how "Annoyed" the guy was when speaking. Calm Edited by Calm, Jan 1 2017, 07:21 AM.

I don't read every word of every post here within these forums. Either the post grabs my attention (and keeps my attention) within the first 5 lines, or I just go on to the next. I would not be offended in any way if anybody did not read all of my text or posts. Calm Edited by Calm, Jan 1 2017, 07:31 AM.

"I would not be offended in any way if anybody did not read all of my text or posts." That's a relief; wouldn't want to offend. |
