Gung Hei fat Choi to everyone.

Tradition is that the floor is never swept on New Years (sweeping away the good luck) as well as no fighting and no meat (kind to every living thing including animals).

Not sweeping is the one thing I always seem to forget about, so far today I have resisted any sweeping despite having the broom out. No hair cuts on New Year's Day either. So I had my bangs trimmed on Friday.

I always enjoy the bright customs of Chinese New Year. Like so many things Chinese it has a depth that N.A celebrations seem to lack.

However, this year I am upset about the predictions. I am a rabbit and usually predictions for me a good or good enough. This year it is not good at all. Especially in the areas of health and money.

Does anyone follow these predictions. Does anyone put any stock in them. Reassure me please. lol
