After our gym time a group of us meet for coffee, over the ten years we've lost and gained some new people. There are only three men and probably six or seven women, all seniors. Yesterday morning the conversation arose re Trump's ban on refugees. This one fellow is "pro Trump" which is fine he's entitled to his opinion, however we have a lady in our group who is an East Indian Muslim! He rambles on how Muslims should not be allowed to take their prayer mats to the public schools how we should not cater to their customs, etc. I was very embarassed, as were several others. I said who cares what religion people are or if they are black, white, yellow or purple, as long as they are good people! I then said to this fellow, can I see your neck, yes it looks very RED! This East Indian lady then mentioned her best friend is an Italian lady who is in her 80's. This lady's neighbour commented you associate with her, she's a Muslim you know. People have to become educated and realize not all Muslims are terrorists, there are good and bad in every race. i will now get down off my soap box. |

Whose god works in mysterious ways? Was it a Christian god that set up the praying Muslims or was it the Muslim god calling his flock home? :ChickenDance: |
