When I mentioned we required a new cartridge recently a friend told me they get the cartridges refilled at Costco for $9. The middle of the week last week my grandson had a cartridge filled and so much printing has been done in the past week the cartridge needed ink again so once again he got it filled. There have been thousands of pages. Correction ..... the price was $12.99 plus tax so $14.68. This is a larger cartridge than my friend's. The down side is it takes approximately 45 minutes to fill the cartridge so drop it off before browsing the warehouse. Take care, Pat Edited by goldengal, Mar 2 2017, 10:50 AM.

My only canister vacuum is an ancient Electrolux with a permanent cloth bag. I would not dare to vacuum up toner with it, so I must settle for brush clean. So then wildie, you are on the side of DISCARDING waste toner rather than REUSING it? |

Yes! The instructions were specific that toners, old and new should not be mixed. I figured that if the new was contaminated, that it might clog up the jets. If this happened I'd be looking at dropping another $70 at Staples. |

Delphi, I tried to connect to the Hong Kong site and I can't connect. I found this site https://www.inkowl.com/ and the prices are more than I paid in Hong Kong but better than Staples. |

wildie, I checked the prices in your link for my Samsung 2510 black laser. Prices are good for toner refill kits. <I also found out that a proper refill is 90 grams... good to know.> Edited by Trotsky, Mar 5 2017, 03:13 AM.

Before you head to Costco with your empty cartridges, make sure they can deal with your brand. Ours can't be refilled by them. It's a good thing it doesn't get much use. |

I just put in an original OEM Samsung Cartridge and was startled to see black blacks. Last cartridge was a knock off by Innovera and it got 395 pages before becoming so light as to be near unreadable. It is SUPPOSED to get 3000 pages. |

I'm looking at your new avatar Trotsky and thinking didn't either Reactivate or Reditall have a similar one - if not the same? Take care, Pat |

Somebody did Pat, maybe I'll try another. The lighthouse is from the board's pile of generics. I have so many good ones but they all violate that 35K limit. |

I just received some black toner from these people at Ink owl. Have yet to load it as I want to run it empty first! |
