Ours are rocker and swivel/rotate. How else could you knock something off a nearby table with no effort? laugh123
I think next ones will be stationary if I could find a real wall hugger (maybe I am looking for something that doesn't exist.)

Hmm, found some cheapies at Walmart that claim needing only 4 inches between chair and wall...and electric mechanism and free shipping.

My last recliner died (innards collapsed on one side) so I bought another el cheapo but got the insurance for $90. for 5 years. I had to get a guy in to fix the handle but other than that it's OK. I've heard that the new ones, even the Lazy boys aren't made as well as they once were and I believe it. The old one that was shredded by the cat still works great after 20 odd years but lives in the basement now where it's rarely used. I wish they still made them like that but they're all bigger now.

Every Lane recliner that I bought had a sprng or two go BOINNNNNGGGG and break. I wrote the company about their lifetime warranty on all metal parts but they said "springs aren't included" but they sent me a dozen springs and clamps. It is slave labor to put in a new spring but I limp them along.

Bob's chair has a busted spring that I cannot manage to replace. Oh well, nothing lasts forever.

DON'T BUY LANE FURNITURE...it's junk.
