She NEEDS the publicity and this obviously got her some. I find her a bit passé. But yes, beheading Trump is still a terrific idea. Edited by Trotsky, Jun 2 2017, 05:17 AM.

She got the publicity and look where it got her - she lost her contract with CNN - good for them. I have always found her form of 'humour' distasteful and she has proven my point. |

Come on Trotsky, I know you don't condone that kind of violence, who on here does. I dislike our PM but would never suggest that or any type of violence... |

And her ad for pottys.... Just read that Griffin is now blaming Trump for the loss of her job, guess it wasn’t anything she said or did, not her fault nah...… meanwhile, here’s one ad using her ‘humour’ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HAGv2LAfnng Did you know she promised to not only go after Trump but also his son Baron http://www.vulture.com/2016/12/kathy-griffin-comedy-should-go-hard-on-trump.html So I’m happy to deliver beat down to Donald Trump — and also to Barron. You know a lot of comics are going to go hard for Donald, my edge is that I’ll go direct for Barron. I’m going to get in ahead of the game.” Edited by friendshipgal, Jun 3 2017, 08:48 AM.

Trump, and every other politician, is fair game for comedians as has been shown, but to go after a politician's son, in this case an 11 yr old boy, is a new low. A new level of sleaze. |

THere is a difference between beheading someone and smearing a round piece of Styrofoam with red paint. Analogy: burning someone in effigy is NOT the same as burning someone to death. My jury is still out on actually EXECUTING a criminal politician. I am not horrified by the beheading of Charles I, Louis XVI, the shooting of the Romanoff family, etc. I think I could live with seeing the ACTUAL severed head of Donald Trump, it would not cause me sleepless nights. |

Comedy has always been somewhat exempt from good taste and correctness. I'm not a fan of Griffin who tries to be Joan Rivers but does not have the same talent. If any of you have seen the roasts on the Comedy network, jokes go to places where many fear to tread. My first thought was how nice to live in a country where one cannot be jailed or executed for tasteless jokes, even involving a president. However, she was visited by government officials. She is paying a huge price for a joke that was not funny. Public reaction will be her punishment. |

She won't play so well in Missouri as she once maybe did. laugh123 I am not a fan of Griffin either. She is too strident lacking any semblance of subtlety

Her main sin is that she's not funny and she seemed whiney after she got fired. Free speech often comes with a price but if she's any good she'll find a job elsewhere. |

This was definitely over the wall, no matter what anyone thinks of Trump. Even the suggestion of a beheading, puts one in mind of al qaeda and their violence and inhumanity. Was the lady really thinking this was funny?? I think she just finished herself off, rather than Trump. |

I spent a bit of time trying to put the picture in some sort of context, but if there is some connection it is most tenuous. All I could find was Trump made some dumb remark about women bleeding which went right over my head, certainly not worth reacting to the comment. In my case I had never knew the lady before so it was all new to me. But all said and done the picture is too close to the Muslim's activities to be funny. |

Would a picture of Eisenhower holding the beheaded head of Hitler be upsetting? |
