Awwww, they killed off the lead actor in FEAR THE WALKING DEAD, Cliffy Curtis, who played Travis Manawa. This decision may be a BIG mistake for the fate of the show.

Cliff is now working back here on an Avatar movie ... On AMC's Walking Dead blog, Curtis said Manawa - a schoolteacher with Maori heritage - was too much of a good guy to survive a zombie apocalypse. "He was a good guy, but he was so laboured by his sense of ethics and values and what's right. Being a good man is not good for you in the apocalypse. It's kind of a problem in this world," he said. "I think one of the themes on the show is that the people are more dangerous than the zombies. Source link New Zealand actor Cliff Curtis has reportedly landed a major role in all four upcoming Avatar sequels. The Whale Rider star will play a "lead character" in the James Cameron films, according to NZME. Producer Jon Landau broke the news, adding that Curtis is "a great person". "[He is] a shining example of the extraordinary creative talents from New Zealand's film community that have drawn us to produce our films in the country," says Landau. Avatar remains the highest-grossing film of all time following its release in 2009, hauling in over NZ$4 billion at the global box office. The long in development sequels have been delayed several times and now the first is scheduled for release in 2020. It's not the first "Avatar" movie for Curtis, as he starred in 2010 film The Last Airbender - an adaptation of the Avatar animated TV show, a separate intellectual property. Source link |
