So Bob read in the NYTimes in "What's good in TV this week." And they mentioned the Netflix streaming show VELVET. Another"department store saga" set in Spain this time. I acceded to the show thinking it was a one time movie. Halfway though I was informed it was a "mini-series, Perhaps 5 or 8 episodes" So we watched the first tWO hourlong episodes and it is indeed quite good. But WHEN i clicked away, I saw the descriptive blurb: 55 episodes. (If you cannot say something in 13 hours, it is probably not worth saying.) I am too old for that kind of commitment. Bad enough I feel that Game of Thrones has me by the cojones. And my free year of HBO runs out next Friday. ohmy 03 Edited by Trotsky, Jun 10 2017, 01:32 AM.
