New York sounds like a wonderful place to live. Theatre, Good Food, Parks, what more could one want?

You live in a great city and you are enjoying everything it has to offer. Any chance you will be attending the Tony's?

Attending just like you...on TV.
The Tony's is the hardest ticket in the world to get. Perhaps somebody sleeping with Bette Midler might have a shot.

Bette was on good form tonight !
I think she made a total ass of herself by refusing to stop talking, dragging a long show into even longer territory. She may be a hit on Broadway but she has not yet been coronated the Queen.
Besides, she is leaving Dolly July 1 in favor of Donna Murphy.
I guess they are going to do the whole schtik again with everyone eventually playing the role over the next 30 years. (I'm holding out for Judy Densch or, better yet, Maggie Smith. laugh123)

So now it looks like we have to try SOMEHOW to score reasonable or free tickets for DEAR EVAN HANSEN...not going to be easy with some people dropping $1400 for a seat.

You go to see a lot of broadway shows, I thought you might have an 'in' with the ticket sellers. Sorry, I guess I thought wrong.

When I eventually make it to NY maybe I will find reasonably priced tickets to Come From Away now that it did not win all the awards.

Tomorrow:
ANGELS IN AMERICA, the Opera, at the Rose Theater in Lincoln Center: New York City Opera Company. This damn heat wave is expected to be over.

blizzard, COME FROM AWAY should soon be available at the TKTS booth at 47th and Broadway for about half price on the day of the performance. Right now though, probably no luck because it is doing 102% of potential box office...so full houses = no dscounts. But you are right, there will likely be rapid falloff.
