OY, did this stink. The music was super outré, by that I mean, no discernible music amid the atonal squawks. There were no arias that I could discern, only recitative (easily overdone) and just plain TALKING. I have actually enjoyed Gregorian Chant more. (I yearned to see the original which, blessedly, HBO has ON DEMAND.) If this "opera" plays your town...EMIGRATE. There were many walkouts after Act 1. Edited by Trotsky, Jun 16 2017, 02:51 AM.
