Tonight's theater sounds interesting. I hope we beat the rain. Theater is 4 blocks from the subway.

Last minute change because we got two comps to a better theater, the Manhattan Theater Club, that usually does really fine stuff. We made a good choice to see COST OF LIVING:
It starred Victor Williams (you may know him as Kevin's best friend in KING OF QUEENS) and two severely handicapped actors, man with cerebral palsy and and a quadriplegic woman with no legs below the knees <both real life situations for the actors.> A lot of what it means to be caregiver to those in desperate need. The play was very sweet and touching...and also funny. Edited by Trotsky, Jun 25 2017, 01:27 AM.

Perfect timing, We got into the subway JUST as it was beginning to rain and got home right after it stopped. And then heavy rain once we were back in the apartment. We didn't even need the umbrellas. |
