Well worth watching ... Diana: Our Mother: Her Life And Legacy.

New documentary shows Princess Diana was the joker in the royal pack

Princess Diana would blast Enya from her old BMW while driving through the country lanes with the hood down and her kids in the backseat.
It's that memory that stuck most with her youngest son, Prince Harry as he looked back on her "incredibly funny" persona.
Those intimate details exploring her adventurous and often cheeky personality were revealed in Tuesday night's TV3 documentary Diana: Our Mother: Her Life And Legacy.

Can't understand this fascination with the royals.

The other day newspapers and the internet carried a photo of one of the royal brats (and a not very handsome brat) on his fourth birthday.

Give it a rest!

There was quite a bit more to her than just that Durgan.

Anyone who would sleep with Didi Fayad qualifies as a bimbo, I think.

I am most interested in seeing the effect a woman so prominent would have on her sons.

I think she had a tough life even before joining the royals.

She was the most active Royal of all in charity work. And the most effective. I read recently that she shook hands with the aids victims before anyone else would and had considerable empathy for all the people she visited in hospitals.

It seems to me it would be very difficult to remain sane, let alone grounded, after being suddenly immersed in royal life. Particularly with a spouse who was pushed into the marriage and had a long time true love on the side. While disapproving of her social life I feel for her and am impressed with her child care. William at least does seem to be well grounded.

It was a thankless job, as shown by the comments here. She couldn't win.

Plus she had the QUEEN constantly shitting on her and her husband screwing an old hag mother substitute.

Dodi must have been seen as breath of fresh air freeing her from the claustrophobia of the Windsors.
Given a choice, I'd sleep with Dodi Fayad FAR quicker than with Charles Windsor...and I am a good judge of men.

I am not a Dianna worshipper by any means, but she was neither an evil woman nor a "bimbo."

It seems to me that the British Taxpayer gives the Queen about 50 million a year and then the Queen gives some of it to charity and we all are thankful and proud.

The British Monarchy costs Canadians about 2 bucks per capita each year.

Diana: Our Mother: Her Life And Legacy. ... was made from the point of view of two boys losing their much loved mother, at an early impressionable, age. One of the most poignant parts was the last phone call from the Princess in Paris to the boys at Balmoral.
