Gorilla Born Using Human Fertility Drugs

Posted Image

A baby gorilla has been born at a zoo following pioneering fertility treatment normally only used on humans.

The tiny western lowland gorilla was born at Bristol Zoo Gardens on December 15, reports the Guardian.
The baby, who is yet to be sexed or named, has started suckling and is said to be doing well.

But the birth was only possible after the mother, Salome, underwent a course of groundbreaking fertility treatment.

This is the second baby that Salome, 30, has reared but her first child was born almost 20 years ago.

Oh my............from the back this baby looks like a human baby. However, It really doesn't surprise me, that furtility drugs meant for humans, would also work on some spieces of animals.

MC it really isn't that surpising when you think about how close their DNA is to a human.
