British Telecom is starting a wireless service where users are encouraged to share their wireless and in turn use other peoples' wireless when away from home. Apparently the idea started in Spain.

Thats an interesting development. I thought that BT was privatized. I cannot imagine a company that is profit motivated, making such a suggestion. It would be a good idea in my neighborhood. As I sit here I can detect wi-fi from 3 neighbors. |
